Front Row Bucket Seat Car Seat Cover Installation Guide
Before You Begin
Clean & Dry: Vacuum the vehicles seats thoroughly and ensure they are completely dry before installation.
Check Headrests: If your vehicle has removable headrests, remove them first.
Prepare Covers: Unbuckle or untie any straps or ties on the seat covers before fitting.
REMEMBER: Avoid excessive pulling or yanking on seat covers during installation. This can damage airbag seams.
Helpful Tips:
Step 1: Fit the Backrest Cover
After removing any removable headrests, position the seat cover over the backrest down the first third of the seat. Align the Head rest opening at the top of the seat cover.
Gently work the cover down the next third of the seat from the top moving the cover side by side. Avoid pulling or yanking, as this can damage airbag seams. Align the side seams as the cover is gradually fitted.
Continue to align the side seams of the cover to the side seams of the seats being fitted as the final third of the seat cover is fitted. This ensures the snug fit and correct placement of the specialised airbag deployment stitching.
Pass any straps between the backrest and seat base. This can be tight so passing straps through gradually is recommended.
Step 2: Fit the Seat Base Cover
Pull the base cover over the seat cushion and position into place.
Tuck the edges of the seat cover neatly between the seat and plastic trims for a tidy look and to maintain access to seat adjustments.
Secure straps under the seat by the ties or buckles concealing straps underneath the seat.
Do not overtighten· firm but gentle tension is enough.
Step 3: Reinstall Headrests
Fit the headrest covers onto the removed headrests.
Reinsert the headrests into the seat.
